Within the gloriously renovated City of Oakland Office of Parks and Recreation (OPR) Studio One Art Center(try saying that ten times quickly), the Fall Session of Monday September 8 through Friday October 31, a Halloween that is celebrated as the 3rd Annual Free To The Public Pumpkin Potluck Candle Light Supper (7:00-9:30 PM) will be up on line www.oaklandnet.com/parks or available as a flyer very soon. Please pass along any contact info about someone who would make a good judge for our Pumpkin carved /decorated contest; a judge for the costume contest, a judge for the best eats contest, or a judge for the paper plate mask contest. 

There are some new art class offerings mixed in with the traditional at this 60 years old art facility under the auspices of the City of Oakland Oakland Parks and Recreation DepartmentlOPR)   Please allow time either during the day , afternoon or evening before 9:00 PM, M-T to visit 365  45th street.  That's between Oakland Technical High School and the Temescal Pool which is also a City of Oakland facility  Please call (510) 597-5027 to give your contact info for receiving details. After the Fall Session there is the Holiday session of Sat. Nov. 1 through Nov. 22 and Mon. December 1 through Sat. Dec. 22 with breaks the week of  Thanksgiving and Christmas.
