I lost a friend, the ArtShip Foundation lost a friend, Golden Gate Library lost a friend. The arts and cultural community of the Bay Area lost a friend. She will be sorely missed. |

Glad to say my recovery from the rotten stair accident (March 2004) began
almost a year ago and I'm doing much better now. Residual pain, but the
white hot electric stabbing pain that caused me to wake up yelling (and losing
sleep) seems to finally have gone, so with deep sleep once again, my brain has
come back. It's a bit like Rip Van Winkle, |

The Word-Music Continuum
(Kirk Lumpkin – poetry & percussion, Paul Mills –
guitar, & Mark Wieder – double bass) performs at a lovely location
right on the Bay and if the weather is nice enough we'll perform out on the
deck. Also, if the weather is that nice The Word-Music Continuum will start our
30-40 minute set promptly at 7pm. If the weather is not so nice we'll play
inside after a few open mic performers have warmed things up. |
